[HCARC] FT8

    Downloaded the new WSJT-X v 1.8 and installed it on the computer, it took a little bit to get it hooked up to my radio and the computer to talk together. Did make a contact on FT8 mode to Utah wow it is very fast, and it looks like it will be a lot of fun using. It will still take time for me to feel real comfortable about using this new software. If anybody is using JT65, download the new WSJT-X software and try it. There are some tutorials on YouTube I would suggest taking a look at them. By the way some of the logging software at this time is not recognizing FT8. Eqsl and qrz logging programs are recognize FT8 I am not sure if LoTW is recognizing FT8 yet.
