No obvious damage here. We did have some hail. I was glad that my truck was in the garage. It's been out for over a month, but we finally cleaned out the garage and got it in yesterday afternoon.

Fortunately, we were spared the hail. 3 weeks ago we had hail, and it was the oddest looking hail I have seen – the pieces were crystal clear ice as opposed to whitish ice. That was the night that San Antonio has the baseball sized hail from the same storm.

Gary-
At our QTH we had 3 inches. One piece of hail was the size of a quarter but the amount of hail wasn’t overbearing.
The fruit trees and garden didn’t suffer much damage. We feel very fortunate it wasn’t worse.

When I made my Skywarn report to NWS they said that they had clocked reports of 70 mph plus straight line winds. My neighbor lost more roof off of his barn and about 5 big trees down. The wind was so hard it was blowing water up my metal roof and pouring it in through the openings in my continuous ridge vent and blowing it in through my soffits. I also lost three 10 foot roof panels on my porch roof. WHEN it dries up I am going to have to get on the roof and look at the caulking around the ridge vent. This is the second time since we moved here in 1998 this has happened - first time was several weeks ago, but not close to the amount of water this time. Rain total was over 2 1/2 inches in about 20-30 minutes time.

Wow! Our wireless Internet service was knocked out last night about
2100 hours local, Bee Creek will no doubt be running around the area today replacing toasted access points.
