[HCARC] Severe Thunderstorm!!!

2.23 inches here (~5 miles west of Harper), peak wind gust was 30.0 MPH
at 2132 hours local. My wind instruments are sited very well - about 26'
off the ground on my shop roof and totally in the clear so that's a
fairly accurate wind assessment.

We got lucky with no hail and the usual 25-30 winds. I looked at
yesterday's radar loop (Weather Underground) and we had a large bright
red splotch go directly over us but the bright pink (greater intensity
return) was just a little south of us thankfully.

Unfortunately I don't know what our peak rain rate was since we stopped
uploading last night due to no Internet, but it must have been a rain
dump! (There's a script in a cron job on my weather server that's
supposed to backfill the missing data on Weather Underground every day
at 0000 hours so hope that works.)
