[HCARC] PL-259 Wars on TowerTalk

The obligatory once every 3 month or so wars over PL-259’s rages again today on TowerTalk.  It’s crimp vs solder and what method to solder with sidelines into what soldering irons are best.  No I haven’t chimed in on why use a PL-259 vs N connector in the first place.  Most everyone here knows my feelings on the subject, especially for new Hams.  I guess it is just one of those never ending emotionally charged questions.  It’s just amazing to see how often it rages.
