Lew:

Good for Dr. Campos! He's also my primary care physician.

He's asked me several times over the past few years about how to get his ham
license and about attending classes to get him ready for the test. However,
I'm not the one who has been coaching him. Glad to hear that he took the
initiative to study for the exam.

Subject: [HCARC] new ham on 2m - my doctor

Hello, fellow club members,

QST! QST! My primary physician, Dr. Javier Campos, is now a new ham here in
Kerrville, KG5KCJ.

He told me he has a 2m HT and he is listening some on 98. If you contact
him in a qso, please make him welcome. He's a fine young doctor, and I am
pleased to introduce him to you. He has told me previously that another ham
in the area has been helping him. Maybe we can get him to a club meeting
sometime.

73 & God bless

Lew W5LEW

PS My old Icom IC-2800H 2m/440 mobile just died. I think I will let it go -
it's quite old. They don't last forever, you know :)
