Team, as of 9:49 am today:

A quick look at surface and upper air observations show a dryline
across west Texas currently just east of a Midland to Fort Stockton
line. The dryline is still expected to surge eastward rapidly today
and aid in the development of convection. We are already seeing some
convection develop over the lower Trans Pecos and Edwards Plateau.
Convection continues to develop this afternoon and evening as the
dryline surges into the Hill Country and I-35 corridor. It still
appears the best timing for convection along the I-35 corridor will be
between 2 and 5 PM. emp
