We do seem to be a hidden treasure............

 

 

A ham buddy of mine from Texas was recently on vacation and stopped by 
the National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, NM.  While on a group tour of 
the facility he casually asked one of the scientists "When will the next 
sunspot peak occur?".  The scientist replied "What is your callsign?".  
This led to a private tour for him and his wife of the observatory ham 
shack behind the telescope building located on a mountain about 9000 
feet ASL.  You never know when you will run across a fellow ham operator.
