It has the CW filter which is a nice feature for CW operators. As I recall, everything worked fine on the rig. I sold the rig to Jerry Suntych who lives in Fredericksburg. I think he?s had the rig for about a year or so. In addition, Jerry has an Astron RS20A power supply along with a Dentron Super Tuner. Jerry wants to sell the equipment in two packages: 1. Kenwood TS-140S Transceiver Astron RS20A Power Supply Power Cable and Connector Hand Microphone Original Packing System/ Double Boxed ? Great for shipment or storage. The price for this package is $300. If anyone wants a starter or emergency backup rig this is a low cost alternative. 2. Dentron Super Tuner ? $30. Here?s a link to a PDF copy of the manual for the TS-140S. http://www.tgc-ares.org/ts140s.pdf Those interested may contact Jerry directly via email (I copied him on this email) or call him at 713-725-8066. A ham buddy of mine from Texas was recently on vacation and stopped by the National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, NM. While on a group tour of the facility he casually asked one of the scientists "When will the next sunspot peak occur?". The scientist replied "What is your callsign?". This led to a private tour for him and his wife of the observatory ham shack behind the telescope building located on a mountain about 9000 feet ASL. You never know when you will run across a fellow ham operator. 73, Mark WC5M _______________________________________________ 599dxa mailing list 599dxa at 599dxa.org http://mail.599dxa.org/mailman/listinfo/599dxa_599dxa.org Message delivered to k2ff at aol.com From n5baa at hctc.net Tue Sep 29 13:08:46 2015 From: n5baa at hctc.net (n5baa at hctc.net) Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2015 12:08:46 -0500 Subject: [HCARC] Propane Distributors Message-ID: <70867D5336D94E178EA3DDD7B76A5DCD@GaryPC> IF you own your own propane tank you are at the mercy of Propane Distributors to get your propane.
