Today a new sunspot group came over the east limb of the sun. It looks
pretty impressive. The solar flux has been climbing a little bit the
last couple days. There is a string of 5 sunspot groups stretched
across the sun's northern hemisphere. On is just coming over the east
limb while the another is just about to go over the sun's west limb. In
any event I've seen activity from the one on the east limb for the last
couple days and I expect it ill be fairly active. We should have a
couple more decent weeks of solar activity.
