[HCARC] Current Solar Storm

I could only hear 2.5mhz WWV this morning.
I have 2.5, 5, 10,15, and 20 mhz in memory channels for a quick sampling of
propagation.
10 is usually almost as strong as 15, while 20 may or may not be in
sometimes.
10 mhz is S9 now. 15 has come up now and is S8-S9 on the beam antenna.  20
as not come up at all.

At 3:00 pm local this afternoon I was working in the shop and turned on the
rig. There was no signal heard on HF at all. Had to go all the way down to
1400 kHz to finally get a local broadcasting station. I had never
experienced this severe a blackout before. Here is an article from a ham I
