[HCARC] Subtle Lightning Damage

 If your station is not un-plugged TOTALLY (antennae and ALL power) lightning damage can occur.  Lightning struck a nearby house while my power supply (Astron rs-35m) was plugged in to wall outlet.  It was jouled-up, and instead of 13.85 volts DC, it read 16.5 volts DC!  Unknown to me at the time I tried to operate my radio (Alinco DX-77t).  It broke down and now is now mute key. I re-calibrated the Astron and revived dead receive modes in Alinco.   '73,KF5AIE reading the mail only
