[HCARC] Solar Activity

There was an M1 flare last evening.  The MUF has been quite depressed 
for a couple days now as the solar activity has been up and the 
background X-ray flux has been running around a C1 level. The f0f2 never 
got above 7 MHz yesterday and is running even a little lower today.  
There was also a Coronal Mass Ejection in an area where it affects the 
earth.  A Polar Cap Absorption event is in progress but I can't guess 
how long it will continue.  Bands are likely to be quite a mess for 
Field Day this year.
