I could try 1296, but not sure how well might be working.
What's a frequency?

Subject: ARRL VHF/UHF CONTEST NEWS
Good morning to everyone in the HAMster Group,
Just a quick reminder that many of your fellow HAMsters will be
working the ARRL VHF/UHF Contest this weekend and even if you do not plan on
taking part in the contest we would greatly appreciate you coming on the air
and helping those of us who are with contact points. 6 meters has been
cooperative the past week, with luck it will cooperate this weekend and I
think we will see some early morning band activity on the other bands so
Sunday morning should be a good time for the 2 meter and up bands.
Here at the N5XO station, I will be operating Single Op on 50MHz {Primary in
the 50.125 to 50.145 area}, 144MHz {Primary in the 144.200 area and 144.205
area}, 222 MHz {Primary on 222.100} and 432MHz {Primary 432.100} and
1296MHz. I really hope to work you this contest...So listen for me and help
with the points.
Also please see below message from HAMster #5 Marshal K5QE and his super
contest station.
Hello to all our friends in the VHF world from the K5QE contest team....
K5QE will be operating in the ARRL June VHF Contest and would really
appreciate any contacts that we can make during the contest. We will begin
normal operation at the beginning of the contest--1PM CDST on Saturday, June
13th. We will be operating as a Limited Multi-op on 6M, 2M, 222MHz, and
432MHz. The contest ends at 10PM CDST Sunday night.
There are new rules for ARRL VHF contests. Assistance is now allowed to
everyone. The new rules for Assistance are extremely liberal....basically
you can do just about anything, EXCEPT for posting any contact information.
This means that we cannot post "Thank you" after a contact, because it
confirms that the contact is complete. Please understand if we don't send
you a thank you post. The rules just don't allow that, even though we do it
routinely when not contesting.
When we were in the Falkland Islands(VP8), Arliss and I used Dan's(N5TM)
chat page. Dan made a VP8-EME tab for us. That worked out VERY well. I
have asked Dan to make a K5QE Tab for <http://chat.n5tm.com/>
chat.n5tm.com. So just go to <http://chat.n5tm.com/> chat.n5tm.com, login
with your Call, Name, and Grid. Then click on the K5QE tab. HINT: We will
always be monitoring <http://chat.n5tm.com/> chat.n5tm.com(K5QE Tab). So
you can contact us there if necessary.
Please call in on 2M on 144.200MHz or on 432.100MHz and we will work you
there and on all the other bands that we can. We really appreciate your
helping us out with contacts where ever possible. Thanks in advance.
LATE NIGHT OPERATIONS:
On 6M, IF the band is NOT open for Es, then we will be running meteor
scatter(MS) using FSK441 OR we will be looking for long haul contacts using
JT65A.
When we are running meteor scatter, we will be on 50.265MHz and we will be
using the PingJockey chat page. When we are trying for long haul tropo
contacts on 6M, we will be on 50.276MHz and we will be using the N0UK JT65
Terrestrial chat page. Just look for us those chat pages.
When we are running MS on 2M, we will be on 144.142MHz using FSK441 and we
will be using the PingJockey chat page. Trying JT65b for 2M will be done by
arrangement if required. Sometimes, a really long QSO can be made when the
band is apparently dead, by using JT65.
During Late Night Operations, tropo stations can call in on 432.100MHz or
222.100MHz. We should be able to pick you up there. We will still work you
on the other bands, by stopping digital operations for just a short time.
We very much want to get you in the log, even if it is late at night.
Our moonrise is 0950Z = 4:50AM on Sunday morning. We will be running EME on
2M and 432 after that time, but we will still monitor 2M terrestrial. If
you hear us, just contact us on one of the chat rooms above, and we will
stop EME long enough to work you. When we are running EME, we will be on
the N0UK EME-1 chat page.
EARLY MORNING OPERATIONS:
Especially on 2M and 432, if you are an intermediate range station, please
look for us carefully in the early AM hours of Sunday morning, say from 7AM
to 10AM, when we have the best chance of a tropo opening. It is amazing how
far you can work during those "magic hours" if you just get a bit of
enhancement. If you hear us but we don't hear you right away, please
contact us on one of the reflectors listed above. HINT: We will always be
monitoring <http://chat.n5tm.com/> chat.n5tm.com(K5QE Tab).
Thank you in advance for spending some time to work us in the contest.
73's Marshall K5QE, EM31cj
Phone at the contest station is 409-787-3831...and yes, you can call us
during the contest. Just no contact details.
