That's great Virgil.  At the next meeting I suggest someone make a motion to 
have the club set aside $200.00 to give to the city for our use of a public 
park, or maybe we can take up a collection to cover the costs - how much do 
you want to contribute??  Next I suppose there will be a ticket booth at the 
entrances so they can charge admission to the city parks, especially since 
they have recently used Taxpayer $$$ to refurbish the park - someone has to 
pay for their fancy fountain and umbrellas!!

As for me - they can go soak their collective heads.

Maybe I should make a motion that HCARC never provide emergency 
communications services to Kerrville without a $150.00 per day charge and a 
security deposit large enough to cover any damage that might occur to our 
radios and antennas.

Just my opinion though - activating Tranquility Island just isn't $180.00 
worth of important to me - of course, I have another island in the Pecan 
Valley Lake in my subdivision that can be activated for free.

The community hall in harper goes for about the same amount
