[HCARC] 4:1 Baluns Needed

I am running out of sources for inexpensive 4:1 Baluns to keep making Dale Gaudier designed OCFD antennas for new(er) Hams.  Dale’s OCFD requires a 4:1 balun for its use.  Gale Heise has been generous enough to provide much of the necessary wire and end insulators and the occasional 4:1 balun from old wire antennas he gets, but we are getting enough people that can use Dales antenna that I have begun to run short.  The advantage of Dale’s OCFD dipole is that it will do 40/20/15/10 meters without a tuner.  Not having to purchase a tuner, especially to a person starting out in radio is a big plus.  If you happen to have an old(er) 4:1 balun you would either be willing to donate to the cause, or would sell for a very reasonable price, please bring it to the meeting on the 4th and I will be sure it gets to a good new home.  I know of 5-6 new(er) Hams in the club that will need an antenna in the next 3-4 months.
