We have the Red Cross big meeting room and the radio room reserved for the entire weekend and can operate as much as we desire. It should be a good chance to practice for the ARRL Field Day and we should endeavor to try as many different antennas as Club Members desire. I have 4 one gallon bags of leftover (frozen) Brisket from last June available that should be quite good when mixed with some good BBQ sauce.
As far as mounting antennas, I have the club antenna trailer available as well as another approx 40 foot crank up mast, and of course some aluminum military mast sections and the metal push up mast we used last Field Day. We left a halyard attached to the club tower that should make mounting an antenna there much easier.
This is an excellent chance for new Ham radio operators to get significant air time. Come one and come all for some mid-winter fun.
