[HCARC] Beam Antenna Attachment Parts

Thanks for the heads up!!  Haven’t bought any of his stuff as I have all of the beam parts I need amongst the aluminum tubing I got from Gale.  I can only conceive of building one beam antenna and that would be a 6 meter beam to mount on the same mast as my 2 meter CushCraft beam.  I happened to see the parts when trying to locate a manual antenna switch for Tony Moore and thought they were a good deal – I read aluminum, but didn’t think about the stainless hardware.  I wonder if the drilled aluminum plates (fittings without the hardware) that he sells also are a good deal??  That way one could attach his own hardware, which BTW I also have in profusion from a donation from Gale.

As I have posted before – IF you need aluminum tubing, etc and don’t come and try to find it in the pile you are spending money you might not have to!!!  If you know the diameter and length of tubing you need, I’ll even check out the pile for you.  I also deliver (ask Gale who needed some tubing back) for those of you who don’t live in Center Point and can wait until my next trip to town (which is about 3 times a week for one thing or another).  Speak up or open your wallet – your choice.

The hardware is "crap!"  Sorry...  Not stainless...  not worth the
time of day.  That stuff will rust out over time and be a b^#@+
to remove.

Been there...  seen that...  Waste of time and $$$
