When is a good time to check out antennas (Clubs HexBeam for sure) for use during Field Day???  Why during Winter Field Day 30/31 JAN of course.  Last year we participated and not only was it a great fun time in the dead of winter, but many of us learned something to boot.  It’s one of those times to get on the air and actually call CQ with some hope of people wanting to talk to you – you know Run a Pile Up!!!!  Here is the link:
