To make it easier for the Secretary to record attendance I have successfully merged Harvey V’s Microsoft XL spreadsheet roster into an attendance sheet that will only require you to either initial or checkmark your name. That way whomever is the Secretary will have a list of attendees that he/she can read and call signs that he/she can read also. Not only that but the attendance list will always be in alphabetical order and make it much easier to produce the minutes. One of the hardest things for the Secretary is to get people’s names associated with their proper call signs. There are spaces for new names to be added and for visitors to log in at the end of the list. Call signs are very personal and the Secretary takes significant heat when a call sign is reported in the minutes wrong. Hopefully this will be a better way.
