[HCARC] Field Day!

For all of you who attended my CW University classes (and anyone else whose
CW is a bit rusty):

 

You are invited to help operate the club's slow speed CW station on Field
Day, Saturday June 28th. I will begin setting up around 9am in room "B" at
the Red Cross (same room the club meets in). I will be running a Flex 1500,
which is a 5w (QRP) rig using PowerSDR and N1MM contest logging software.
Although Field Day doesn't formally start until 1pm CDT, get there early to
learn how to tune the rig and use the logging software.

 

The goal is for you to have the opportunity to make some CW QSOs (we'll look
for relatively slow speed stations so it shouldn't be too intimidating),
learn how to use the equipment and software, and have fun!
