[HCARC] Strawberry Jello Recipe from Christmas Party

Belated Happy New Year, everyone.  Marilyn requested that everyone put their
yummy recipes on the reflector, so here goes Linda's recipe for Strawberry
Jello:

 

STRAWBERRY JELLO

 

Ingredients:

2 - 16oz boxes of Strawberry Jello

40oz of fresh strawberries

1 can (16oz) crushed pineapple (save juice)

4 bananas mashed

1 cup sour cream

 

Directions:

At room temperature, dissolve jello in 3 cups boiling water.  Add remaining
ingredients, including saved pineapple juice.  Mix well.  

Pour 3/4 of mixture into a glass pan, 13 X 10 X 2 and allow to set.  When
firm, spread sour cream on top then spoon remaining Jello mixture on top.  

Refrigerate.

 

Serve when hungry (my additional "ham" notes).
