Neither you nor Kerry have any idea how much I am on the air. Anytime you
care to volunteer for either the secretary or the Static or maybe
Coordinating Field Day just speak up or maybe if you would prefer lets just
start a peeing match on the Reflector. In fact maybe come next meeting I
will tender my resignation from all three positions. In fact, maybe now is
a better time.
Terry, Harvey, Bill, HCARC Club Board Members:
I hereby tender my resignation from all of the positions I hold in the Hill
Country Amateur Radio Club. Terry - I will be happy to deliver the
materials I have concerning the Secretary position and all of the Field Day
information I have received from Jeff Lavender at your convenience. Have a
Nice Day.

Dennis - Great comment - Show Gary no mercy. What a waste of a K3! Gary is
almost as active as K5XA.
Gale - The station I worked had a roof with composition shingles, I guess
thats the better description. He had taken the wires from his dipole and
pushed them up under the bottom of the shingles. Sounds really great to me.
Gary - Not only do I have the foil backed insulation board, I also have a
meta l roof. I don't think it would work, but I don't have to try! My
house in Albuquerque was a Territorial style house with stucco walls. Under
the stucco is chicken wire. There was a lot of metal in that house. The
roof is set about a foot below the top of the walls. the ends of my
antennas were on the top of the side walls in one case and actually laying
on the roof in the other. The chicken wire didn't seem to be too bad and
you couldn't see the wires from the ground.

Might work if you ever get on the air, but I guess you are too busy doing
the minutes and newsletter.
