[HCARC] WHAT IS ADOBE AIR

Now Adobe Air is telling me it just can’t wait to be updated.  What the heck is Adobe Air and why would I want it??  All of a sudden many programs that I assume were loaded at the factory on this new(er) laptop want to update themselves.  Hard part is if you don’t know what it does you don’t know if you can do without it.
