[HCARC] Do You Like Really Sweet Melons???

This is sort of off topic, but if you like really sweet cantaloupes you have got to go over to the big HEB, go into the door by the produce, hang a hard left turn and go about halfway down the outer wall.  You should see a couple of kinds of cantaloupes.  Look at the labels on them and find the ones that say either SUGAR KISS or SUMMER KISS.  They are the best cantaloupe you have ever had, including Pecos Melons which are Texas’ Best.  The Sugar Kiss is just ambrosia sweet, while the Summer Kiss has more cantaloupe flavor and is almost as sweet.  Don’t worry that you see some green showing through the netting on the Summer Kiss – there is a green stripe inside the rind that is just as sweet and tasty as the light orange flesh (there might be some Crenshaw melon in it’s lineage).  Lately they have been so sweet that I have had to cut them up with some sweet watermelon to cut the sweetness some.
