10' of 1 1/2" grey electrical conduit at Home Depot is $5.67 minus 10% for
being a Vet which is 57 cents per foot more or less and has the bell end so
no connector is needed. I guess I need to check the price of 2 inch grey
conduit too. Conduit can cost as much as the tower. I shudder to think of
the price of concrete for the base which is over $100 per cubic yard
delivered.

Have you compared prices for doing multiple 1" pipe or 2" pipe?
