The minutes were read and approved

The Treasures report was read and approved

OLD BUSINESS

Repeater Committee: Chuck Brainard fixed the antrenna on the repeater.

VE Committee: Next Test at the end of Dale Gaudiers Tech Classes in mid April.

NEW BUSINESS

Gale Heise (KM4DR) indicated he would be listing a large amount of used equipment on the Reflector and then on EBAY.

Bill Tynan indicated WEBDX Remote Operation of Stations is available on a per minute basis. I.E. you can rent a major contest station for remote operating.

Bill Tynan indicated a new repeater he has put up for 900 mhz will come on line very soon. Easiest access is via an Alinco 900 mhz HT.

Red Cross test went well on 1 March.

Terry Hipskind is now the local ARES Coordinator.

Beginning CW class to start in Mid April

Gary Johnson reminded everyone that Field Day is less than 3 Months out. We need to start planning very soon to secure a location. To date we haven’t even chosen a location!!!

Remaining schedule of 2014 programs are as follows:

April – Kerry Sandstrom (K5KS) on Solar Influences for The Working Ham May – 80 meter Wide Band Dipole by Dale Gaudier (K4DG) June – Gary Johnson on Field Day July – Gary Johnson Field Day Report

BREAK FOR REFRESHMENTS FROM Mort McKenzie (WB2GEU) and Barb and Pete Schuyler (N9NM, N9OF respectively)

The Presentation was by Harvey Vordenbaum on his Crank Up Tower. Marilyn said she was fully supportive of Harvey doing this. (does Marilyn have any unmarried sisters??) There is surely a lot involved in putting up a freestanding 56 ft tower properly.

50/50 was won by Bill Tynan $35/$35 Split.
