[HCARC] Repeater

 I see no rational reason for removing EchoLink, IRLP or packet from the repeater. Why would we want to limit the usefulness of this wonderful resource?
 
 Amateur Radio is a broad, multifaceted  endeavor with far too many aspects for any one individual to be involved in them all (though some of us try) . Those who wish to operate only one mode have that right but should not believe that everyone else should must do the same. That kind of thinking leads to stagnation and eventually extinction of this club and ham radio in general. 

 One of the reasons we are permitted to enjoy this hobby, is that we are the pioneers of new technology. If we fail to maintain that status, we could loose that privilege.  Let's keep moving forward in the proud tradition of the hams who were responsible for inventing so much of the technology we now take for granted.
