I told Terry after the meeting, that I would talk with my family about Skywarn.  We have decided that the Skywarn program is too beneficial to let slip away.  

After discussing this with my family, I would like to offer to take over the Skywarn nets per the schedule at 1900 (7PM CST) with the next net being on 10-13-2013.  I am looking for an assistant net control, although Jeff Gurst N0XDW has volunteered to assist when able and my family will listen over Echolink to confirm reciepts.  

I have never been a net control, nor am I skywarn trained, but I don’t want us to lose this capability.  I am asking everyone to come help out, as well as help me learn as we carry this program forward.
