How useful would they be, really?
The club already has to have a storage place for the portable tower trailer.
That costs a license annually.

In the interest of helping out Field Day and as well as increasing our flexibility when choosing Field Day sites, I have the approx 80-90 feet of fiberglass military surplus antenna sections that I want to donate to the club. Problem is they take up space, which is something that seems to be in short supply in the club. Where do we usually store Field Day supplies/equipment?? The alternative is that I can store them in the back of my garage until needed. Do we have somewhere where these type of things are stored?? What would be really nice would be to have a small enclosed trailer (4x8 ish) like Jeff rented last year. That would make responding to emergencies as well as Field Day much easier.
If we had a small enclosed trailer, would we get a good deal from the state on registering it since we are a non-profit??
Jeff – Butch Lackey has a small trailer that was once used for small stock that he has been trying to sell for years. It’s located where he sells implements on Main Street in Center Point – way in the back. Lets drop by and look at it one evening and see if Butch would make a real good deal on it or maybe even donate it to the club.
