Ray,
I have a FREE copy of Ham Radio Deluxe Version 4 with a lot of V5 modules
that I got from Frank Edwards KK5IA. It didn't want to run on Windows 8 so
I invested in HRD 6.1 which will and has a gazillion new features. HRD 6.1
combines so many of the functions that are useful, but otherwise needed to
be downloaded from separate sources. It will even scan and decode CW,
PSK-31 and RTTY all at the same time on one single waterfall display (at
least it says it does - I am unaware as to how it does multiple freq at
once).

I've been looking for some good FREE radio control software for my old JRC.
I found dxlabs software at dxlabsuite.com. i now have a system with dual
monitors dedicated for this stuff. Great software at the right price.
I will be testing the linux version tomorrow so i can only speak to the
windows computers. It is cross platform and should even "run" on an apple.
