The simplest way would be to use a SignaLink USB interface along with any
one of numerous soundcard digital radio programs. This gets away from
having to use COM ports from your computer, and it uses the power from the
USB connection thus eliminating the need for another wall wart power supply.
Many new computers don't have COM ports anymore. This unit also takes the
place of using the computer's sound card which are sometimes somewhat
compromised.
Be sure to get any ready made interface cables to connect the SignaLink to
your model radio.
( I thought you were getting an Elecraft? )

Subject: [HCARC] Connecting Yaesu FT-450AT For RTTY/PSK31

What will be needed to connect my Yaesu FT-450AT for running RTTY/PSK31??
Will I need something like a RigBlaster, or is there an easier way to get it
connected?? What would be the BEST , Easiest and most reliable way to
connect it??
