Bill,
I would be fascinated to learn how to reach satelites with 2 meters. I have
24 of the 4 foot long fiberglass antenna poles (military surplus) that
interconnect with each other and the necessary rings to guy them. I also
have a Discone antenna that says it is good for 2 meter, etc Ham
wavelengths. I used it for listening with my old scanner before the city,
etc went to encrypted digital. As I have told Jeff, I have a new 1000 foot
role of 3/16th Dacron that is useable for temporary guying, tying up
dipoles, etc.
Bill - education time for me - in what way is the OLH site different from
last years site at the racetrack for 2 / 6 meters?? Does it have to do with
elevations, or ????
