Hi Harvey,

I just bought this incredible radio a week ago and now realize that it is
way too big to fit where I am having to move to so as much as I hate to, I
need to sell it and get something physically smaller.

What I have to sell is an Icom 781 transceiver & accessories listed:

1-Obtained from original owner 1 week ago

2-Original factory double box & packing

3-Original accessory box includes:

  Rack mount ears never unwrapped

  Original operator's manual

  CT-17 computer interface w/cables

  Bag of connectors, h/w, etc

Cable with connectors to use an external LCD monitor

4. Sherwood Engineering cooling kit installed by THE Icom 781 expert,

Kuni W7IV, with Comtek in Washington state which included complete

alignment & checkout. All verification documentation and contact info
is

    included in the accessory box.

5. Upgraded Rockwell-Collins Mechanical filters installed by Signal One

6Khz AM; 2.8Khz wide SSB; 1.8Khz narrow SSB; 500Hz CW

6. Mod performed to allow all band transmit from 1.8-30mhz including 60m

7. Includes matching SP-20 speaker

Radio was always in a non-smoking environment. It does have some minimal
paint scratches on top and side. Can provide photos to show via email.

I paid $2125.00 for it and that is the price, not shipped. I will meet
someone or deliver it within 100 miles of Fredericksburg so it won't have to
be shipped.

I communicated with Rob Sherwood before I bought this and his opinion of the
781 is that it is the best HF rig made and in his opinion is only 2nd to the
Hiberling. He advised that his station is comprised of 2 of these.

I really would appreciate it if you could let the club members know,
hopefully someone will recognize what a special rig this is and buy it.
