[HCARC] Latest Status On "Getting Ron Vivian on the Air"

I recently bought some Icom branded hand microphones for my IC-2820 mobile
(works also on my IC-706MKIIG & IC-2720) for under $20 on eBay.  I'm using
the HM-133v microphone with the 8-pin RJ-45 style connector, not the 8-pin
round connector. I've been very happy with the quality of them. Took a few
weeks to arrive from Hong Kong via slow boat from China, but they eventually
got here.

I just did a search on eBay and found the following lists of available
microphones...

Here is a link to the HM-36 microphone that lists the IC-775 as one of the
models it fits. No DTMF pad on the microphone.
