I love your comment in regards to checking guy wires on towers after these high winds. 
Glad to see that you brought that Naval experience over. I do that on things hunkered down on the motorcycle, too. Vibrations on the Harley will loosen things up. 

"I learned this aboard ship - things you thought 
were tied down securely, loosened up over time with the constant rocking and 
rolling of a ship underway.  The same principle should apply to antennas and 
towers."
