Getting around to figuring out what kind of lighting is best for a Ham Shack and what kinds of stuff to stay far away from. I have heard that the low voltage type of lights are a definite NO GO due to their having transformers that reduce 110V to 12 V and in the process transmit on Freqs a radio can pick up. I would assume then that flourescent lights may be bad too. How are non-dimmable LED's or is it just best to try to stay with the old tried and true incandescent light bulb??

Last, how RFI free are window A/C units and ceiling fans in a shack??

My goal since I am assembling the shack from the walls and ceiling down is to have as little RFI as possible.
