[HCARC] LMR-400 and PL-259 fittings

Thanks Dale, I figured there were plenty of adaptors out there to go from
one to another - I can't be the only one asking the question - world wide!!!

I was hoping to get a feeling of how well the adaptors work vs rewiring in a
different fitting into the equipment. I wonder how many precious DB's I
lose when I go through an adaptor - the answer being probably next to zero
or statistically zero, especially compared to all of the other places I can
misplace DB's.

I want to again publically thank those who take of their time to answer some
of these, maybe simple, but important questions. From what I hear others
tell me, you are helping many more than just old Gary J. At least I hope
so. None of us can afford to spend $$$ doing things in other than the best
way possible - $$$'s permitting. That, and just think of all those lost
DB's running around with no one to take care of them - we might need a
Government Program to round them up and care for them, nuture them and make
them feel that they are appreciated.

Gary:

Google "N to UHF adapter" and you'll get lots of answers.
