I you ever plan to have a tower and rotateable bean at or near the present
antenna location, I would also run rotator cable, with enough extra to go up
the tower. How do you know what type of cable,? Of course, it depends on
kind of rotator you are going to use. I would plan on Yeasu. I have a 2800
and it's the best rotator I have ever had, no problems in 20 years. I can't
say that for any other rotator I have ever used.
Again, with a tower and beam in mind, I would run extra coax, probably LMR
400 or 600 for that distance.
Just a suggestion.
