To All-
I’ve been thinking about inviting anyone who is interested in observing or operating in the 10 meter contest this weekend to join me at my QTH. I built an X-Quad antenna for 10 meters with a temporary mast. I had the antenna raised to around 23 ft. but I learned we’re to have 21 mph winds tomorrow so I’ve had to strap it to the 10 ft. level for tomorrow and plan to raise it to 23 ft. on Sunday. The X-Quad is headed North East and the 389 ft. long wire is bi-directional good for Asia and South America since it’s headed towards the North West.
The station is a Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V transceiver driving a Ten-Tec Titan Amp to about 700 watts on CW and 1000 watts SSB. I’ll be using the N1MM contest logging software.
If anyone is interested in visiting/participating either Saturday or Sunday please let me know off Reflector and we can work out some times.
