[HCARC] Ham Equipment

I sure can't complain about the quality of the Yaesu FT450AT, power supply
and also the Hustler 5BTV antenna I bought from Gale. Fair price - great
almost new equipment.

I am looking for a receiver or transceiver (not too big) that I can put on
my nightstand to listen to the bands when I can't sleep and when I don't
want to trundle out to the radio shack. Sometimes it just takes 20-30
minutes for my pain meds to kick in and it would be nice to have something
to listen to. Something like a Yaesu ft-897 would be perfect in all aspects
but the $$$. Any ideas???

Gale:

I'm with Gary on this. I don't mind seeing the occasional "for sale" notice
on the reflector. I'm pretty sure that many of our newer hams would like to
know when a piece of radio gear is available from a trusted club member.

Gale,

It's not like the Reflector has been overly active these days. Why not post
that you have new stuff for sale and then post them to the website in the
for sale area already set up??
