Oh my goodness - I have done something right for a change (don't tell my
wife). It just seemed to be logical - but then I was a Microbiology
major!!!
Next question - on one of the first posts Kerry ever answered for me, he
recommended a Hy-Gain Hy-Tower AV-18HT, a 53 foot vertical tower antenna as
his choice of vertical antennas. Kerry, you didn't mention it in your talk
the last meeting. Don has also mentioned that antenna once or twice to me.
Is this still an antenna I should look for for the future?? I have a
Hustler 5BTV that should suit me quite well for a while, but I am pretty
good at ferreting out stuff for a good price and just wonder if this is
still something to look for. Reviews on Eham are excellent with many Hams
having owned them for years and years.
Last question - on radials for a vertical antenna that will be used on
multiple bands - do you cut some radials for each band or just cut them for
the lowest freq band??
