I wouldn't use the Ultra Flex unless you need it for wrapping around a
rotator making more than a 360 rotation.
It's harder to strip and attach connectors.

Subject: [HCARC] LMR-400 COAX

I have the best price quote for: LMR-400 (Times Microwave Systems brand)
$.95/ft (includes shipping).

Ultra Flex LMR-400 (Times Microwave Systems
brand)  $1.69/ft (includes shipping).

I am lobbying for getting Ultra Flex because it is so much more flexible,
AND it has a stranded center conductor.  From what I have researched-the
line loss parameters are exactly the same as the stiffer LMR-400 with solid
center conductor.  What do you think?  So far, there are 3 of us wanting to
upgrade our transmission lines.  Comments welcomed.
