At QRT Ranch (12 miles SW of downtown Kerrville):

>From our digital rain gauge: 4.22" from 1700 local time until midnight on
9/13/2012, with 0.11" since midnight until 1030 local on 9/14/2012, for a
total so far of 4.33".

Our creek came up to its banks, but did not flood the two low water
crossings on our road.

My rainfall reading was 2.36" today.  The record max. in CoCoRahs from
3/20/'12 was 3.36".  The water was starting to come up on the front porch
tile that time.  Of course the ground was much wetter that time.
I would have to go back into annual spreadsheet records to get older records
since I've been here.  There's nothing like the 6.5" we got in Clear Lake
City one time.
I see that the overflow notch is about .01" above the 1.00" mark, so I add
that amount.

At 0515 the rain gauge here showed 1.95" since yesterday. That is the
largest rainfall we've had since I've been reporting to CoCoRaHs in May
2012.
