To All-
Instead of the 10 meter net, tonight we’re going to run propagation tests on the 15, 20, 40 and 80 meter bands at the following times and frequencies.
7:00 to 7:05 – 21.422 Mhz (If busy with another QSO, listen up)
7:05 to 7:10 – 14.333 Mhz (If busy with another QSO, listen up)
7:10 to 7:15 – 7.275 Mhz (If busy with another QSO, listen up)
7:15 to 7:20 – 3.875 Mhz (If busy with another QSO, listen up)
I will get on frequency and simply ask for check-ins from anyone in the club who can hear me.
I’ll make a list of who I can hear without the use of relays. Since I’ll be speaking the most, I encourage members to simply copy down my signal strength.
I think if we keep it simple we should be able to run through the bands according to the schedule listed above. If you don’t hear me on the frequency listed during the corresponding time period, you’ll know we don’t have propagation on that particular frequency.
Thanks to Bob, K5YB, for listening to the 40 and 80 meter bands to obtain recommended frequencies.
I appreciate everyone’s feedback, interest and opinions. We can discuss the results at Thursday night’s meeting.
