To quite Bob Ritchie from the static:

"Hmmmmm, next someone will come up with a pair of glasses that make radio waves visible."

What would such a day look like??  I suspect that this last weekend the world would have looked quite confused with all of the RF being generated by the CQ WW SSB Contest.  There were plenty of radio waves to have seen over the weekend.

Thanks again for Gale Heise making the club station available for a couple of us to participate in the contest.
