[HCARC] Ham Radio Amplifier Instruction Session

A picture is worth 1000 words - a demo session is worth 10,000 words.  Thank you Gale Heise and Bob Ritchey for putting on a session at the Red Cross where now when I read about amplifiers and make those inevitable decisions on whether to buy one and what kind to buy, I will have a basic working knowledge of what amplifiers are all about.  To all who missed the session - you missed a lot, especially if you are a newbie (I think we are called "Little Pistols" in Ham Speak).  Hardly anything I learned today is intuitive - much like many things in Ham Radio.  Not only did I learn something about Amplifiers, but learned or at least had some of the mystery removed from the Dreaded TUBE.  Now ehen I go to the net and read aboout how a tube works, I have some reference to put it in.

Madam President - Gale deserves a ticket from both you and I.  Bob R. who imparted plenty of info to me deserves one from me too.
