Gary...

In the ON4UN Low-Band Dxing Book, available from the ARRL, there is a very
complete
chapter on Vertical Arrays. Good reading, with examples of different
types of antennas in this
category.

Gary,

I've been able to get antenna data on AM broadcast stations from the FCC
web site. The last time I visited, it was http://www.fcc.gov and once I got
there i went to the "audio Division" and there was a place for AM query.
The site did provide antenna patterns for the AM stations and provided data
on the feed scheme used to generate those patterns.

One place I've found info on VLF through MF ground systems is "Antenna
Engineering Handbook" edited by Jasik, Henry, 1961. Chapter 19 shows a couple
of the VLF ground systems including an AF VLF antenna at Marion, Mass
built by RCA Communications. Chapter 20 has a typical ground system for a two
element directional antenna.

The FCC site is easy to find, the old Jasik book is a challenge. I'm sure
 there are others.

Kerry
