We do have the 20 foot scissor lift available from Mark  KF5QBH, that could 
be set up on the paved area
to the North of the stadium structure.
 
A beam antenna on phone would definitely bring us up a  BIG notch!!

Having been an engineer I can't help but look for  methods to improve our 
Field Day Station.  Getting a beam antenna up  for the phone station gets 
my 
vote.  Possibly we should consider  expending some club dollars to purchase 
and outfit another portable crank  up tower.  I suspect the crank up tower, 
beam and rotator that we  discussed previously may be purchased at a good 
price if it's still  available.

2012 Field  Day Results are in and we finished 159 of 2617 listed results 
nationwide  all categories all classes.   When you Narrow down to just 3A  
class we faired 29th of 316 3A entries.  Just a little more Narrowing  down 
and to just South Texas all categories 4th of 71  reporting.   If you get 
it 
down to 3A STX only we finished First  with the next 3A station being 3080 
points behind N5HR

Great job  done by all and I am looking forward to the 2013 Field  Day
