[HCARC] Thanks Ron, Harvey and Fred

To All-

  Thanks to Ron Drumheller for donating a Rigblaster Plus and PK-232 to the Club.  The Rigblaster will help us upgrade our club station with direct CW and FSK keying utilizing N1MM.  Harvey and I met at the Club Station today to set up the Rigblaster and successfully try it out.

  In addition, we were in the need of a direct keying device for the Field Day CW station that will utilize Dr. Jim’s 746 Pro.  Harvey took my lightning zapped Rigblaster Nomic, replaced the opto-isolator chip and rewired the output for direct CW keying.  We tested the CW keying circuit from Harvey today as well and it worked just fine so we’re set to key Dr. Jim’s 746 Pro on Field Day with N1MM.

  Fred Gilmore has been working on EchoLink and it’s a great addition to the club in it’s new format.
