[HCARC] BARTG HF RTTY Contest - March 17-19

To All-

  As of this date we have 48 mixed confirmed QSLs towards a WAS award and 21 countries towards DXCC.

  I’m looking forward to working Multi-Operator Multi-Station with Jeff, N4YPT, on Sunday, March 18th in the BARTG RTTY contest at the club station.  Maybe we’ll pick up Rhode Island and Maine during the contest along with some DX stations.

  We’ll let everyone know the hours if anyone wants to join us for operation.  We’ll be networking computers similar to Field Day during the contest.

  Thanks to John Guida, K5XA, for letting us use his bandpass filters for the BARTG contest.

  FYI – I’ve learned that Harvey Vordenbaum enjoys saving money by fabricating equipment for the club station.  After building a special mic input adapter for a foot switch and boom mic he’s now working on a CW keying circuit that will allow keying of the club rig via a COM port from the computer.  Congrats Harvey!
